The documents required for a loan application depend on the customer profile, verification results and the policy of the applicable lending partner. The Credit Baniya journey should show the items required for the individual application. Do not upload documents that have not been requested.
Common document categories
| Category | Examples that may be requested |
|---|---|
| Identity / KYC | PAN and other permitted identity/KYC documents or digital verification results. |
| Address | Accepted address evidence where the lender or verification process requires it. |
| Income | Recent salary slips, income evidence or other supporting records relevant to the applicant profile. |
| Employment | Employer information, office identification or other employment evidence where applicable. |
| Banking | Bank statements or account information used for verification, affordability or repayment setup. |
| Agreement / mandate | Documents and confirmations required to complete the approved lender journey. |
Upload documents clearly
- Use a clear image or PDF where all required text is readable.
- Upload the correct document type in the requested slot.
- Do not crop important edges, identifiers, dates or transaction details.
- Use current documents when the application specifically requests recent evidence.
- If a document is rejected, read the reason and upload a corrected version rather than repeating the same file.
Protect your information
Upload documents only through the official Credit Baniya journey or another verified process communicated for your application. Avoid sharing sensitive documents through unverified links or unknown messaging accounts.
This page is a general guide. The actual documents required for an application are the ones shown in the customer journey or requested by the applicable lending process.
